, Amazon’s New World delays again – this time to spring 2021, P2Gamer - The Gaming Blog Hub

We weren’t alone right here in calling Amazon Recreation Studios’ unique launch window of spring 2020 for New World “foolhardy” and “untimely.” And we’re guessing we aren’t alone now after we specific a whole lack of shock that the studio is yanking the title from its August 25th launch slot and shoving it all the way to spring of next year.

“We will likely be altering our launch date — and correspondingly, our closing beta check — to spring 2021. We don’t make the choice flippantly, and now we have urgency about getting the sport to you as shortly as doable at the highest quality — with some additions that can make the expertise even higher,” Senior Director Wealthy Lawrence stated.

Lawrence cited tester suggestions and a necessity for extra fleshed-out options as a cause for the delay, though it may simply come all the way down to the truth that the sport isn’t completed but. As a small token of compensation for the very prolonged delay, New World’s full expertise (reminiscent of it’s) will grow to be accessible “for a restricted time” on August 25th to anybody who has signed up for the beta or pre-ordered the sport.

Supply: New World. Cheers, Darren!
