Shadowlands Profession Leveling Journals Can Be Sold on the Auction House, P2Gamer - The Gaming Blog Hub

Shadowlands Profession journals are BoE and can be bought and sold on the Auction House.

Shadowlands comes with profession journals that can be used once a week to increase your skill by 5 points. The good news is the books are BoE and can be traded on the Auction House.

The following journals that increase your skill exist in Shadowlands. Archaeology is not included because it has been discontinued in the new expansion.

a weekly reset for those seems way too much because is only 5 prof. pex

I agree, if its a weekly cooldown, it should be 50 or something, depending on how high the crafting levels go….but 5 crafting skills per week is WAY too low for a week cooldown.

Leveling a profession wasn’t hard since Cata, and now there’s whining about Blizzard adding extra means to speed it up, not making it “click a button once each week three times, yay I’ve maxed out a profession.”?

Playerbase hitting new lows.

This is awesome, not required at all but a good way to save a ton of gold if you are not in a rush to level.

Yeah, I agree! We should just be able to get our profession up with out a grind! I think mythic raids need a nerf too because not everyone can do it on release, along with mythic keys +20

Really? 50? Professions will only be like 150 max, because they have them separated for each expansion now.

I know it is a novel idea but you could just level your profession instead of waiting every week for this. I feel 5 is fine and selling the item is a nice bonus for those that actually just level their profession to make some extra gold off those who do not want to do a gathering.

Normally I would denounce this addition, but I recognize this is Blizzards way of keeping the money out of the hands of 3rd party’s that offer profession leveling for money. Now yes the money goes to a big corporate like Blizzard but at least I know the company and that they are less likely to be doing shady crap, and have to offer some transparency to their earning reports.

I think that you are playing wrong game…this is not P2W game…not yet…if you wish to improve in something, you have to practise…so you have to collect or craft ..and getting 5 point in to skill for free is prety good in itself. Even more at the start of the expansion , where there is not enought resources or their price on AH is stupidly hight. And about your nerf to mythic raids and M+…NOPE… its end game content which in itself has to be chalenging so ofc it will be hard and not open for every1, that is the purpose….dont know if you ever watch things at the start os each expansion, but even M+15 were achieved after few weeks after opening (not counting the hard core M+ players in this) and keys like 20+ + + started apearing about 1/2 the expansion thx to better gear and added powers…same like in Legion….

PS: Not sure if you are sarcastic here 🙂

PPS: Ofc there will be some tuning/nerfing and fixes with time and i hope some will apear sooner than later… YES…I am looking at you  😒TYRANICAL!

It’s a catchup mechanic, not the primary method for raising them, ffs.

That’s exactly what /s means. Short for /sarcasm.

Even as a catch up mechanic , its like 1 item per week? so 30 week to ”catch up” assuming its 150 to max out it seems almost useless even for the last of your little alt and im pretty sure it will not be worth selling it , i imagine it being 1k gold or something.

This article explains how to submit bug reports on the Shadowlands Beta.

Blizzard has delayed the release of the Shadowlands expansion, and player feedback is now more crucial than ever. The good news is you can help make the expansion better by submitting detailed bug reports if you have been invited to the Beta testing!

In-Game Bug Reporter Hotkey

When you mouse over an item, creature, spell, or achievement in the game, you will notice some blue text at the bottom of the tooltip that reads: “Press F6 to submit a bug for this item”.

Submitting a Bug Report

Hit F6 while mousing over the creature, item, or spell you would like to report, and you will see a text pop up with the model of the creature or item/spell icon. This is the in-game bug report window.

From there, type a short description of the misbehavior you observed, and your bug report will be sent for review directly to the Quality Assurance team. Make sure to always include as much information as possible.

The default F6 hotkey can be rebound in Escape > Key Bindings.

Mythic raiding takes quite a lot of coordination between the players and many still don’t manage to achieve the Cutting Edge achievement, but today we have quite an accomplishment on the subject. Undaunted, a deaf and hard of hearing guild has managed to down N’Zoth Mythic without any voice comms (obviously)! Not only that, but we get to see their version of the now standard “nerdscreams” just as the kill happened! Their “comms exploding” chat pop-up is a particularly cool detail:

Huge congratulations to the guild, as this is truly an amazing accomplishment! Here’s the full kill VoD:

And here are some comments from the reddit thread by the raiders themselves:

If you decide to go with a refund after purchasing and using the free character boost that comes with the Heroic or Epic Edition of Shadowlands, the boosted character will be locked.

The Heroic and Epic versions of the Shadowlands come with a free Level 120 Boost. When you use it but decide to get your money back, you won’t be able to play the boosted character until you purchase the expansion again, or another boost.

Common Problems

Error “Unable to use boost token to unlock character.”

My Battle for Azeroth purchase was charged back, and my boosted character locked, I purchased the expansion again, but I cannot unlock my locked character

If you have an active chargeback on a character you boosted for free with an expansion upgrade, the affected character will appear locked. To unlock your character, purchase the expansion again, or purchase a new boost.

After your payment is complete, click the lock next to your character and apply your new boost to it. This will unlock your character. If you receive an error, contact us.

Battle for Azeroth is currently not included in the Shadowlands pre-purchase, but this will change soon and you won’t have to purchase the expansion separately.

Pre-purchasing Shadowlands does not currently include the latest expansion WoW expansion, Battle for Azeroth. On the contrary, Battle for Azeroth is required to pre-purchase Shadowlands.

Common Problems

Do I need BFA to play Shadowlands?

If I buy Shadowlands, does it come with BFA?

What’s included with my purchase of Shadowlands?

Does heroic includes access to all allies and flying achievement

Battle for Azeroth is not included with the Shadowlands pre-purchase.

To purchase the Shadowlands pre-purchase you need to already have Battle for Azeroth purchased, or purchase a Complete Collection for the World of Warcraft account.

Everything will change with the release of the Shadowlands pre-patch on October 13, 2020, and the Battle for Azeroth addon will be added to the base game, meaning you won’t need to purchase it separately, and an active subscription will be enough to play all content up to BfA.

When the Shadowlands pre-patch goes live, you will be able to buy Shadowlands separately.

With the release of the BfA pre-patch, Blizzard made the Legion expansion part of the base game, which is why we think the same is going to happen with BfA when the Shadowlands pre-patch drops.

Shadowlands has been delayed and with it, we have some fresh memes to brighten up your day.

Death Knights have found a way to enter the Shadowlands earlier than expected.

Nothing is as it seems…

The biggest problem when it comes to Shadowlands being delayed has been revealed!

October 27: Expectations vs Reality

A lot of players had to cancel their vacations and some got so mad they took matters in their own hands!
